Terms

The terms of the house.

What the House does

Practicumhouse finds, rules on and arranges preceptor and field-experience placements for professionals in the programs it covers, and handles the affiliation, credential and compliance paperwork those placements require. It does this as an independent service; it is not part of, endorsed by, or sponsored by any university or licensing board.

What it does not promise

No grade, no particular preceptor, and no placement in a program whose handbook forbids outside arrangements. Where a rule cannot be met you are told before any fee is taken. The House arranges the setting; the clinical judgment exercised in it is yours.

What is asked of you

Accurate information about the program and the term, the documents a site requires, delivered when the steward asks for them, and attendance at the hours you agreed to. A placement lost through misrepresentation or non-attendance is not the House's to replace.

Fees

A quote is given in writing before a room opens and does not change unless the placement itself changes. Payment terms, including any refund where a placement cannot be housed, are stated on the quote.

Closing a room

Either party may close a room by notice. Work already done is charged as quoted; documents already filed remain filed unless the school requires their return.
